Mercer County Sheriff's Dept. Roadside Safety Checks

    During August and September, Mercer County Sheriff's deputies will be conducting roadside safety checks, seat belt enforcement zones and roving saturation patrols during the upcoming Labor Day holiday. Deputies will be enforcing all traffic laws while giving special attention to drivers and passengers not wearing seat belts.

    Deputies will also be on the lookout for drunk drivers and if you are caught driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, you will be arrested. Please drink responsibly and enjoy a safe holiday.
