Tobacco enforcement checks

Recently the Aledo Police Department in conjunction with the Mercer County Health Department conducted tobacco enforcement checks at local businesses in Aledo that sell tobacco products.  I’m pleased to announce all businesses that were checked were in compliance and no violation occurred.  This is a cooperative effort conducted 3-4 times a year with a grant that was written by the Mercer County Health Department and the Aledo Police Department conducted the enforcement checks.  The Mercer County Health Department is going to apply for the grant again to conduct these periodic tobacco checks.
