Two arrested for hammer attack

 On June 14th, 2012 the Aledo Police Department was notified about an incident where an adult male had been struck several times with a hammer.  The victim was treated at Mercer County Hospital for minor injuries.  The incident took place in the 100 block of S.W. 5th Ave.  The investigation led to the arrest of two subjects.  On June 28th, 2012 Lee Sampson (Age 24) of Aledo and Kelsey Grammar (Age 22) also of Aledo were arrested for Aggravated Battery.  Both were taken into custody and transported to the Mercer County Jail.  Bond for Sampson was set at $30,000 and bond for Grammar was set at $20,000.
