Margorie Seiver and Stacey Gramley, co-president of Mercer County Education Association and Dwight Shoemaker, president of Mercer County School District Board of Education, announce that a tentative two-year agreement has been reached, pending legal counsel and final approval by the full board and association membership.

The agreement has been under negotiation for the past eight months and affects 116 teachers, counselors and a school nurse. Wages, benefits and working conditions were bargained. Details of the contract will be released after both groups ratify the labor contract.
