SADD students from Sherrard High School participated in a Grim Reaper event at school on Friday, April 23. The Sherrard Prom is upcoming on May 1, 2010.

The Grim Reaper visited Sherrard High School on Friday, April 23, and seized SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) students throughout the morning, who then dressed in black with white face makeup.

The collected students represented the symbol of death, and were mute for most of their school day.

SADD students participating in this project were:  Anna Dahlstrom, Danielle Bowden, Tiffany Adams, Hannah Gelaude, Zach Whitmire, Brooke Bloomfield, Anne Winston, Molly Williams, Erin Morely, Aurora Hood, Russell Murray, Chelsie Gross, Alex Felt, Jessica Bowers, Emma Williams, Austin Robbins, Alex Felt, and Steven Schuyler. The identity of the Grim Reaper remains anonymous.

It is estimated that more than 600 million Americans under age 21 will die in alcohol-impaired-distracted accidents during the month of April, May and June, the months between prom and graduation.
