New BHC program delves into airport security

Explore modern-day airport security functions in the new Introduction to
Airport Security: Short-Term Training Program at Black Hawk College.
Students will learn the basic structure of airport security and how the
responsibilities are performed by various agencies. The course will
include a field trip to the Quad City International Airport and a mock
disaster drill.
Classes will be from 7-8 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 8 to Nov. 24, at the BHC Outreach Center, 301 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline.
Cost is $175 for residents of the Black Hawk College District. Call for
