The Carl Sandburg College Board of Trustees approved the employment of Genny Gibson as the resource development specialist during the regular monthly meeting held on Thursday, Jan. 27. Gibson’s new position is through the CSC Foundation and will focus on connecting with CSC Alumni and other friends of the College.
“I support higher education, which is what brought me to Carl Sandburg College,” said Gibson. “As the foundation assistant, I am able to be a part of the efforts in providing education opportunities for students. I am thrilled to be the new resource development specialist because now I can go even further by reconnecting with CSC alumni and other friends of the college to foster relationships that will be beneficial to past, present, and future students and the College.”

“I’m very excited to have Genny on board and working in this new capacity,” said Gena Alcorn, director of the CSC Foundation. “She will be able to build positive relationships with our graduates and will provide them with opportunities to remain connected to the college. Her new position is a key component to the growth and progress of the Foundation.”
