Herkes earns all-conference student-athlete

Carl Sandburg College has announced its Arrowhead Conference Academic All-Conference student-athletes for the 2010-11 academic year.

In order to qualify for this honor, one must carry a grade point average of 3.0 overall or better.

“It is nice to recognize some outstanding student-athletes,” CSC Athletic Director Steve Norton said. “They have worked hard to earn the grades and have been positive representatives of our program.”

Those honored from this area are:

Rachel Engnell, Lynn Center (Women’s Soccer)    

Lauren Herkes, Sherrard (Women’s Soccer)    

Michelle Williams, Woodhull (Volleyball)                    

Stephanie Williams, Woodhull (Volleyball)
