CSC Branch Campus CABI Classes for June

Carl Sandburg College Center for Agriculture, Business and Industry (CABI) is offering the following workshops and courses during June. Food Service and Sanitation

This course is for food service operators and their supervisory personnel to prepare them for the State Examination required by law. Areas of study include how to properly prepare food, required sanitation procedures and the requirements restaurants must fulfill to meet State Health Code. Students will take the exam at the end of the full 15 hour license course. Workbooks (optional) for the course may be purchased from the Carl Sandburg College Bookstore prior to the first class meeting. Class will be on Monday and Tuesday, June 20 and 21, only, from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Branch Campus

Food Service Refresher Course

This course will update Certified Food Service Sanitation managers on changes in food code and emphasize knowledge in areas of general food safety and preventing food borne illness. This refresher course fulfills the requirements of the Illinois Department of Public Health for FSSMS license renewal. Optional textbooks may be purchased at the Carl Sandburg Bookstore. Class will be on Tuesday, June 21, only, from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
