The Mercer County Retired Teachers (MCRT) is a local organization whose members are retired teachers and administrators currently residing in, or near, Mercer County.  These annual scholarships are supported through the donations of members who feel it is important to encourage and support outstanding high school graduates who aspire to enter the field of education.  This past year, a fund-raising project also helped to bolster scholarship funding.  Dennis Henderson is the President of the MCRT, and Bruce and Linda Hall currently serve as co-chairs of the Scholarship Committee.
