Come discover all that Black Hawk College has to offer Thursday, June 30 at Discovery Day!

New, prospective and returning students are encouraged to stop by the Quad-Cities Campus in Moline anytime from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to get registered for fall classes, enjoy a free cookout and win prizes. All Discovery Day events will be in Building 1 (park in the lot off 70th Street).

During Discovery Day, students can:

·       Fill out an online application for admission.

·       Finish their financial aid application (bring a copy of 2010 tax returns).

·       Take the COMPASS placement test (start anytime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.)

·       Meet with an academic advisor.

·       Register for classes.

There also will be an information fair highlighting student services and other BHC programs such as Professional and Continuing Education and high school dual enrollment.

Student Services staff members will be able to help with individual needs. Career Services Center staff members will be on hand to help with resume writing, interest inventories and career goal planning.
