Heat prediction closes MC Schools early on Wednesday

Due to a weatherman predicted heat wave for Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, Mercer County Schools will have an early dismissal at 2 p.m., according the the Mercer County CUSD #404 superintendent's office.

The dismissal time may vary at each school. This affects Mercer County High School, Aledo; Mercer County Jr. High, Joy, Apollo Elementary, Aledo, Mercer County Intermediate, Aledo and New Boston Elementary, New Boston.
