Get started in a foreign language with BHC classes

Do you need an introduction to a foreign language? Try a short-term class at Black Hawk College to get started with basic vocabulary and expressions.

Classes include:

·       Beginning Chinese (Mandarin) Language I – Thursdays, Oct. 6 to Dec. 1 from 6-8 p.m. at the Quad-Cities Campus, 6600 34th Ave., Moline. Cost is $98.

·       Introduction to Japanese – Tuesdays, Oct. 11 to Nov. 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Quad-Cities Campus, 6600 34th Ave., Moline. Cost is $85.

·       Basic Conversational Spanish – Wednesdays, Oct. 12 to Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon at the BHC Outreach Center, 301 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline. Cost is $85.

·       Introduction to the Arabic Language – Thursdays, Oct. 13 to Nov. 10 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the BHC Outreach Center, 301 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline. Cost is $85.

·       Introduction to the Russian Language – Mondays, Oct. 24 to Nov. 21 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the BHC Outreach Center, 301 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline. Cost is $85.
