New Boston native honored at St. Ambrose University

DAVENPORT, Iowa—Derek Dixon, son of Dennis and Penny Dixon of New Boston, received the McDaniel Scholar award at St. Ambrose’s Annual Student Awards Night. Dixon recently completed his junior year at St. Ambrose, where he is majoring in history-teacher education.

Founded in 1882, St. Ambrose University is a coeducational, liberal arts university with more than 3,600 students.
