BHC congratulates 2012 GED, high school grads

Black Hawk College celebrated the accomplishments of more than 200 students June 14 at the annual GED and High School Graduation Celebration.
The event recognized Adult Education and Optional Education students from across the college district who completed all GED or high school graduation requirements during the 2011-12 school year.
Approximately 158 students completed their GED and 46 high school students who attended the BHC Optional Education program received their diplomas from their home high schools.
A new session of GED and Optional Education classes at Black Hawk College begins in August. Most classes start Monday, Aug. 6.
Classes are conducted in a variety of locations including churches, businesses, schools, libraries and housing projects. Call or visit one of the learning sites listed below for more information.
