Get ready for the ACT with prep course

High school students can prepare for the ACT exam by taking ACT Preparation at Black Hawk College.

Classes will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays, Aug. 11 to Sept. 1, at the BHC Outreach Center, 301 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline.

The course will cover test day procedures, test-taking tips, content for the English, math, science, reading and writing sections, and calculator usage. The course materials include the official prep book from the makers of the ACT with three practice tests used in previous test administrations.
