Condolences to the family and friends of Neva Jo Naugle, whose services were held on Saturday at Hoover-Hall in Monmouth.

A number of family and friends attended the Opera House at the Monmouth Nursing Home for the 91st birthday of Helen Richey.

Tom and Missy Free of Lanark, Cheryl and Berry were Saturday lunch guests of Jim and Gladys Free.

Irvin Galusha and his family and the Burgland families were all Easter Dinner guests of Eugene and Millie Galusha.

Kathleen and Lyle Worthington enjoyed a visit from their son Brian and grandchildren Ben, Joe and Faith for three days to help Kathleen have a very happy birthday.

Helen Jane Nicol spent Saturday afternoon in the home of her granddaughter Lindsay Higgerson and great-granddaughter Peighton.

Maxine Stoutt joined the Maple City Red Hatter's when they enjoyed lunch last Tuesday at Courtyard Estates.

Barbara and Steve Determan of Early, Iowa spent Saturday and Sunday with her parents Helen and Clyde Campbell.

After suffering from a fall Clyde Campbell was able to return to his home last Thursday.

The Little Cedar Presbyterian Church had a full house last Sunday when friends and relatives came to honor the seven members of the Confirmation Class when they joined the church.

There will be no Logos on Wednesday this week or choir practice. April 7 will be the final Logos.

The Easter Sunrise service is at 7 a.m. with breakfast to follow.

Saturday and Easter Sunday Brian Worthington and his three children from Rochelle were guests of his parents Lyle and Kathleen Worthington.

Maxine Stoutt was an Easter Sunday dinner guest of her daughter and family, Milinda and Brian Clerk and children Miranda and Jared of Rozetta.

Marjorie Smith was an Easter Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Sid Smith of Monmouth.

Shirley and Bob Darrah recently spent a weekend seeing the sights and sounds of Branson, Mo.

Greg, Clyde and Helen Campbell were Easter Sunday guests of Greg's daughter and family Krystal and Matt Youngman and family of Aledo.

Bruce Carver of Fuquay Varina, N.C. came on Saturday to visit for a few days with his parents, Diane and Jeff Carver.

Diane Carver spent Saturday with her daughter and family, Nate and Maggie Wallace and daughter Jalyn of Galesburg and other family members.

Suzie Simpson's home was the scene of an Easter Egg Hunt and supper Sunday evening for Joe and Terry Simpson, Jane, Jim and Keaten Simpson, Josey and Mike Laie with Olivia, Ivy and Vivian of Alexis, Dick and Jane Clark of Monmouth.

On Saturday, Bob and Shirley, Kerry and Kris and daughter Emily Darrah were at the John Darrah home in Dubuque, Iowa. Shirley and Bob stayed overnight and on Sunday celebrated their 53 wedding anniversary.

Weekend guests of Don and Mary Bertelsen were Alan and Pat Bertelsen of Glenn Ellen.

On Sunday, Helen Jane Nicol and the Carver family enjoyed Easter dinner at the John and Mary Ann McCann home in Oneida.

The Little Cedar congregation enjoyed hearing the adult choir sing, "Alleluia, Alleluia!" last Sunday morning.

A women's retreat will be held on April 10 at the Aledo Methodist Church.

Wednesday is the final Logos session, No choir practice.

Women's Bible study will meet Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Carol Valentin's with no evening meeting.
