(April 12, 2010) On March 31 David and Linda Dutton attended the official adoption of their great-grandson, Asher David Carlson, at the Warren County Courthouse. He had been a part of the family for over a year, as he was formerly the foster son of Krystal and Nick Carlson. A large group of family members and friends attended the ceremony. Asher is also the grandson of Melissa and Jim Bennett of the Rosetta area.

Helen, Clyde and Greg Campbell and Miss Lisa Thomas were Sunday dinner guests of Kris and Matt Jungmann and family of Aledo to help Kate Jungmann celebrate her first birthday.

Bob Darrah was in Oklahoma part of last week attending a gun show.

Evelyn Neal returned to her home in Little York last Saturday evening after spending a few months in Naples, Fla. with her daughter Patty Clark. Hope you brought some warm weather with you Evelyn.

Gladys and Jim Free spent the past weekend with their son Stanley and his family in Yorkville.

Andy Determan of Kansas City, Mo. and Dan Determan of Chicago spent the past weekend visiting their grandparents Clyde and Helen Campbell and their uncles Greg and Russ and their families.

On Easter Sunday afternoon, Linda Dutton flew to Albany, N.Y. to visit her daughter, Kim, who lives in Gloversville, N.Y. She was able to meet many of Kim’s friends. The weather was warm and on Wednesday they enjoyed a picnic in Shrine Park, that is dedicated to Jesuit Priests, who ministered to the Native American tribes in the area. Linda flew home on Thursday afternoon.

The Little Cedar Church will soon be taking in new members, if there is anyone interested in joining the church, please contact Pastor Dutton.

Little Cedar will host the breakfast on the May Friendship Day on Friday, May 7 at 9 a.m.
