Tucker Blaser, St. Louis, Miss. received notice he has passed his Missouri State bar exam this week. He is now a licensed attorney for Illinois and Missouri. He works in the law firm of Brown and James, St. Louis.
Friday, April 23, funeral services were conducted for Graydon Kranz at Wheelan Pressly Funeral Home, Reynolds. The attendance was the largest we have ever seen, Mary Knox was pianist and Tami Clarke, soloist. The Reynolds Post 1166 sat in a body at the service and conducted military rites at the cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Doonan, San Antonio, Texas and Mr. and Mrs. Stan Kaiser, Ark. were among out-of-town guests.
The Rockridge High School prom was Saturday, April 24.
The prom king was Cliff Bolt, and the queen Codee Pederson. The prince was Jacob Kadel, the princess Jacqueline Klossing. The prom was held at the Milan Community Center, and the after prom party at the Rock Island Fitness Center.
Virginia Cooper has moved from the Aledo Rehabilitation and Health Care Center to the Mercer County Nursing Home.
Tuesday, April 27, Rockridge and Orion boys’ baseball teams were tied 6-6 and forced to play extra innings. In the third and fourth inning Orion scored 6 runs, score 6-1 in favor of Orion. Rockridge rallied in the top of the ninth inning. Final score Rockridge, 13 Orion 7.
