Donna and Francis Mack had Mother's Day brunch with Carol and Jason Lewis. Connie McKinley entertained the family with a cookout at her residence in Milan.

Mel and Susan Blaser entertained Frank and Sandra Venable, Chelsy Oak, Mel and Betty Blaser, and Beulah Venable Saturday evening May 8. They watched Tyson Blaser on TV play ball in Pennsylvania.

Dick and Bonnie Curry, son Marty, Connie and Allan Schnoor, Inez and Jerry Rushton ate dinner at the family restaurant in Davenport. After dinner they went back to Grand Haven, Eldridge and enjoyed Connie's pies on Mother's Day.

Diane Verschoore and Coralie Krueger, Jill and Marshall Schriner and Lily spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Bloomington visiting Wendy and Mike Dwinal and boys.

Ronnie and Rita Castor, Wendell and Elaine Oak, Frank and Sandra Venable, Chelsy Oak, Jonathon Oak and Steve and Sherry Oak ate at the Golden Corral in Davenport for Mother's Day.

Tiffany Hoyt treated her mother Betty Hanson, and grandmother, Ruth Hoyt for lunch on Mother's Day.

Savilla and Jim Holstine and Arlowin Paris ate at the Symposium in Bettendorf, Iowa. Later they visited Georgiabelle and Walter Holstine in Aledo.

Mrs. Helen Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Otten and Anna, Cam and Weldon Otten, Aledo, ate Mother's Day dinner in Sterling.

Kelly and Al Biala and Enzo, Jane Cumby, and Margaret Doonan were Mother's Day dinner guests of Tracy and Mary Doonan.

Beulah Venable was hostess for Susannah Circle, Monday, May 10. There were seven members present. Carol Whan presented the lesson, "It was a rainy, stormy night with a gusty wind."

Wednesday, May 12, Donna Mack and Beulah Venable attended Blackhawk Unit of Illinois retired Teacher's Association at Butterworth Center, Moline.
