(Aug. 9, 2010) Lawrence Lee has returned safely from his recent motorcycle trip to Montana. He visited Yellowstone National Park and other points of interest on his two-week trip.

Sandra Morrison of Lena spent a few days this past week with Debra and Jim Darrah and Elizabeth and Ed Orterry of Lake Warren. On Friday evening, Shelly and Mark Hanson also visited the Darrahs.

Bob Darrah and his son, Jerry, traveled to Hamilton on Saturday to attend the “Old Timers Tractor Show.”.

Suzie Simpson, Maxine Stoutt and Marilyn Clute of Alexis attended the 90th birthday celebration of Lorene Johnson at the Colebrook Church on Sunday afternoon.

Evelyn Neal visited on Sunday afternoon with Tom Avery and his family. On Sunday evening, she watched The Old Timers baseball game held at the Monmouth Park.

Bruce Carver of Fuquay Varina, N.C., has been spending a few days visiting his parents and brother and wife, Diane and Jeff Carver.

The Carvers, Diane and Jeff, Bruce, Florence attended the second birthday party for Diane and Jeff’s granddaughter, Jalyn Wallace, daughter of Maggie and Nate Wallace of Galesburg. Jalyn’s great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins also helped her celebrate.
