Bonnie and Dick Curry rode on their motorcycle to Princeton, Iowa for breakfast Saturday, Aug. 7.

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Curtis attended the wedding of their grandson, Eric and Elya Kinsey at Denver, Colorado, on July 29. Also attending were Mr. and Mrs. Russ Peterson, Moline, aunt of Eric Kinsey.

Brittany Schultz, John McCutchan, Mishel House and Heather Fleming were recipients of college scholarships from the membership of the Reynolds Methodist Church.

Sunday, Aug. 8, John McCutchan was pianist for Reynolds Methodist Church service. John and Bell Stetson, Austin, Texas, here on vacation  provided special music for the service.

John Stetson and family are visiting his mother, Mrs. Patricia Stetson and other relatives.

The Susannah Circle met Monday, Aug. 9, with Mrs. Carol Whan, Viola, Helen Peterson presented the lesson. Nine members were present.

Rev. Mark Slaate has a birthday, Aug. 20. It was incorrect in the church bulletin.

Monday, Aug. 9, Mr. and Mrs. Mel and Susan Blaser celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary by flying to Cape Cod, Massachusetts where their son, Tyson Blaser, played for the University of Iowa baseball team. The season is finished this week. They will vacation in Cape Cod area.

A large crowd attended the retirement party Sunday, Aug. 8, for Mrs. Barbara Rursch at St. Patrick's Church 1-4 p.m.
