(Aug. 23, 2010) Condolences to Maxine Stoutt on the recent death of her sister, Betty Sanderson of Monmouth.

Shirley and Bob Darrah left last Saturday to spend a few days in Colorado.

Jim and Gladys Free spent from last Tuesday until Friday enjoying the sights and sounds of Branson, Mo. They spent Saturday and Sunday with their son, Stanley, and his family of Yorkville.

Evelyn Neal traveled to Yorkville on Sunday to watch her great grandson, son of Lonnie and Chris Avery, play football.

Lyle and Kathleen Worthington attended a Worthington family reunion on Sunday afternoon at the Bushnell Community Center. About 50 members of the Worthington family were in attendance.

Russ and Sherri Campbell and family, Greg and Sue Campbell were in Des Moines Sunday to attend the installation of Barbara and Steve Determan into the 2010 4-H Hall of Fame, held at the 4-H building at the Iowa State Fair.

A group of relatives and friends helped Elizabeth Waugh celebrate her 93rd birthday on Sunday at the Legacy in Monmouth.
