Rockridge finished the season Saturday, Oct. 30 at Morrison. Rockridge was defeated (49-12). “To win six games and make the playoffs. I’m really proud of their ability and the commitment they showed “quote of the Rockridge coach.

Dick and Bonnie Curry entertained for Halloween at a party Sunday evening, Oct. 31 - guests were Jim O’Leary and family, Amanda Curry, Vince Crose, and Michele and Josh Jones and daughter, Katie. Pizza, homemade pumpkin pie and pop were served.

Sixteen members of the Cumby family went on a cruise to the Bahama Islands to celebrate Jane Cumby’s birthday. They returned Tuesday, Oct. 26.

Bernard and Donna Bandy, Springfield. were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe DeMarlie. They attended the funeral services of Mrs. Agnes Johannes Saturday morning. Mrs. Johannes is Mrs. DeMarlie’s mother.

Vincent and Carol Ketzle, San Antonio, Texas have retired from San Antonio school system. They vacationed visiting Chicago, Aledo, Des Moines, Iowa and friends in Kansas. They visited Vincents’ aunt, Mrs. Jean Ketzle, Aledo during October.

After returning home, Vincent suffered a heart attack and bypass surgery. On Tuesday, Oct. 26, he was a patient in intensive care in the Texas hospital.

Tuesday, Nov. 2, was election day. The judges at the Reynolds Legion building were LaVonne Wait, Bonnie Curry, Gary Hund, Mary Jeanne Parchert, Debbie Tate and Mary Knox.

Sunday, Nov. 14 is the Fall breakfast at the Reynolds Legion building.  Hours - 7-10 a.m., Church services 10:30 a.m., at the Reynolds Legion.
