Dave Ford celebrated a birthday on Nov. 1 as did Renea Anderson both of Seaton. All of Renea and Ed's grandchildren and their two daughters, Toni Weeks of Aledo and Joni Anderson of Muscatine came over Sunday night for Halloween and ate supper with them. CJ Aldinger a friend of Matthew and Mason Weeks' came with the family. On Nov. 6, Cyndee Stockham is going to celebrating her birthday.

The Seaton Public Library met on Nov. 2 at the library. The final Tax Levy papers for the new year were signed and will be notarized. New books this month include Fancy Nancy and the Fabuluous Fashion Boutique by Jane O'Connor for the younger girls. For the adults, Danielle Steele's Legacy A Novel, John Grisham's The Confession, Janet Evanovich's Wicked Appetite and Nicholas Evans has a new book out- The Brave. The Library also has a new copy of Extraordinary Ordinary People by Condoleeza Rice. Stop by and check them out!

Ida Steepleton spent Halloween weekend in Lebanon at the home of her daughter and son-in law, Steph and Glen Stark. She got to see her youngest granddaughter, Kendall's last soccer game of the season, attend a cook-out with the family and of course share in the fun of Halloween. Ida came back to Seaton on Monday.
