The Mercer County Junior High wrestling team added three more victories to their conference record early this week. On Tuesday, Feb. 8, they traveled to Knoxville and won 66-6. Winning for the Golden Eagles were Trae Blaser, Trenton Murphy, Tomas Malone, Curtis Van Winkle, Logan Welch, Tristen Finch, Matthew Weeks, Mason Weeks, Quinton Ball, Chase Nelson and Carl Dennison. Winners in exhibition matches that night were Justin Carey, Jake Kisner and Ashton Klington. On Wednesday, the Eagles had a triangular with Sherrard and Monmouth Roseville at Aledo. They won over Sherrard 57-40 and M/R 49-24. Double winners on the night were Trae Blaser, Drake Stirn, Ashton Klingaman, Curtis VanWinkle, Tristen Finch, Matthew Weeks, Mason Weeks. Wrestlers with one win for the night included Trenton Murphy, Tomas Malone, and Logan Welch. Winners in exhibition matches included Mike Neeld, Justin Carey, Robbie Carey, Jake Kisner and Madden Karr.

Anniversaries in the Seaton area this week include Joan and Mike Anderson of Alexis and Jim and Betty Unsworth on the Feb. 8. .Joan is the Seaton mail carrier and she also had a birthday on Feb. 8.  Tom and Vicki Chism are having an anniversary on Feb. 12. Zac Unsworth, son of Gary and Terri had a birthday on the Feb. 9.
