Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, Dick and Bonnie Curry, and Ed and Pam Long celebrated a Valentine's supper at Risckys. Dessert featured cheesecake with chocolate dipped strawberries.

University of Iowa baseball team played in the Big East Big Ten Tournament in the Clearwater and St. Petersburg, Florida area Friday Feb. 18-20 weekend. Mel and Susan Blaser flew down to see Tyson Blaser, a member of the team, play and returned on Sunday.

Jim and Connie Widdop, Chelsey Widdop, and Bent Schurr helped Ashley Widdop celebrate her birthday, Sunday, Feb. 20. Shirley attends St. Ambrose University's physical therapy program.

Saturday, Feb. 19, Dick and Bonnie Curry donated blood for the blood drive at the Reynolds Legion Building.

Jane Cumby had gall bladder surgery at Trinity West Hospital on Tuesday, Feb. 15. Her son, Charles Cumby, Florida has come to visit while she is in the hospital and recuperating. Jane returned home on Monday, Feb. 21.

Friday night, Dick and Bonnie Curry and Al and Connie Schnoor ate at Fairyland, Long Grove, Iowa.

Merrill and Mary Allen, Mark and Vickie Allen, Steve and Teresa Morrison and Ken and Martha Wynes were also eating at Fairyland on Friday, Feb 18.

Saturday, Feb. 19, United Methodist Men had breakfast at the Reynolds United Methodist Church. After the meeting, they delivered fruit baskets to nursing homes and shut-ins including Patty Stetson, Kenneth Miller, Georgiabelle Holstine, Bernard Schmidt, Clarence Pearson, Lillian McConnell, Harold Carlson, Ivan Anderson, Gerda Mueller and Marlin Marple.

Sunday, Feb. 20, at the Illinois City Methodist Church, Duane and Brenda Moffitt's grandson Gage was a member of the confirmation class that united with their church. Virginia Moffitt attended the service.

Savanna Wynn and Owen Robert Phillips were baptized in the Reynolds Methodist Church Sunday, Feb. 20. Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Phillips. Bob and Marlene Phillips, grandparents and Sonya Anderson and family, Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Phillips, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mr. and Mrs. John Phillips, St. Charles, Missouri also attended the services.

Sunday, Feb. 20, Bonnie and Dick Curry attended the Putnam I Max Theatre movie, "The Ultimate Wave 3D."
