Ralph Keller is staying at Carrington Place in Muscatine for a rehab session. He would enjoy cards from area folks. Lila says he is getting a little stronger each day.
Marty and Sheldon Farwell enjoyed a drive to Rockford for their great-nephew's baby shower. It was a family gathering for visiting and admiring the little one. They also are enjoying Port Eliza - Spring bird migration is in full swing with many photo shots of the wild life returning to the north country.
Tate and Mary Ann Vroman drove on Sunday to Rushville for Tate's step-mother Esther's birthday. Reilly and Judy Vroman of Andalusia also went for the celebration.
The Rockridge Madrigal Choir performed at Church a week ago. Samantha McGreer was a part of the group -- a lovely performance.
Evelyn McGinnis enjoyed a bridal shower for Lacy Maker, Glenna McGinnis' daughter in Milan last Sunday. Her wedding is March 12.
The family enjoyed visiting for the afternoon at Martinis on the Rock.
Randy and Laura McGinnis drove to Clarksville, Tenn. to care for Danielle Baldwin's children, Racheal, Keagen, Meaghan and Patrick while she went with Gary and Cherie Baldwin of Eliza to a family wedding in Georgia. It was raining Thursday - Sunday and cool for Tenn. weather.
Illinois City Fireman's monthly meeting was Tuesday night with 15 fireman in attendance. Upcoming events of Trivia Night and Fireman Breakfast were discussed. A training session is also planned for the group.
Gary and Cathy Potter and Sue and Harry Reason have returned from Cancun, Mexico. They report having had a great time away from snow and rain in Illinois.
Don't forget the Boy Scouts #444 Spaghetti Supper at the Church on March 19. Hope to see area folks there.
