Saturday night March 5, Stephanie Schultz, junior at Rockridge high school was third runner up in Miss Illinois Outstanding Teen Pageant at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Moline.

John McCutchan was church pianist for Reynolds United Methodist Church, Sunday, March 6. John is a student at Valpraiso University, Valpraiso, Ind. and is having Spring Break for two weeks.

Liz Watkins, a former Rockridge High softball standout player, belted a home run over the fence in right field. It resulted in a 5-1 victory Friday, March 4 for University of Iowa softball team. They played Cal. State Fullerton, Fullerton, Calif. in the De Marine Invitational Tournament Friday and Saturday.

Bryan and Lucille Elliott attended the baptism of Drake William Deppert. Sunday, march 6 a Zion Lutheran Church. His parents are Abby and Kyle Deppert, Tremont, Ill. Maternal grandparents are Paul and Lucinda Parchert. Paternal grandparents are Kevin and Susan Deppert, Tremont, Ill. This is the first great grandchild of Lucille Elliott, Reynolds. Relatives and friends attended the services.

Gary Van DeCasteele had treatment prior to surgery. Monday, March 4 in Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn.

Douglas House had surgery and was in Trinity West Hospital for 10 days. He is recuperating at home.

Gary and Douglas are sons-in-law of Marilyn Kranz.

Mary and Merrill Allen flew to Puna Cana, Dominican Republic in the Caribbean Sea, Feb. 21. The temperature was in the 80s and sunny. They returned on Sunday.

Thursday, March 3, Shepherd White, son of Lucy and Allan White, spent the afternoon with Bonnie Curry.

Walter Holstine's sister, Ruth Park of Colchester, died Saturday, March 5.
