Mary Little Deere, Ft. Armstrong Chapter of D.A.R., recognized outstanding high school students on Feb. 19. These students were nominated by their peers and high school faculties for the Good Citizen award. Qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in an outstanding way were used in judging.

Jacqueline Klossing, daughter of John and Pam Klossing received the honor from Rockridge High School. Her scholarship - contest essay scored the highest, advancing her to the Illinois district level.

Sue and Larry Reason, Cheryl and Danny Klossing, Gary and Kathy Potter vacationed at Riviera Maya, Mexico. They returned Saturday, March 12 after 10 days of nice, warm  sunshine and leisure fun.

Merrill Allen, Leonard Knox and Nicholas Bull are candidates for Reynolds Village Board of Trustees Tuesday April 5 for four year terms.

We express our sympathy to the family of LaVonne Hund Schuler.

She passed away Monday, March 7. She had resided at Avonlea Cottage, Milan. Her son, Gary and Ruth Hund, live in Reynolds. Visitation was Friday, March 11 and services Saturday at 10:30 a.m. March 12 at Watson Funeral Home, Galesburg.  Mr. and Ms. Andy Hoffman, Bloomington, attended the services for Alyria's grandmother.

Bonnie and Dick Curry went to Connie and Al Schnoor's home, Donahue, Iowa, to visit with their mother, Inez Rushton, Saturday, March 12.

Linda and Joe Kinnett, Sales, Ind., Randy and Robin Bellinger, West Lafayette, Ind., met Charlie Belinger Saturday March 12. They all ate dinner together in Champaign.

Cindy and Kenny Flack visited their son, Ronald Flack in Jenson Beach, Florida.

The Susannah Circle met Monday, March 14 at the Reynolds Methodist Church with eight members present. Helen Peterson presented the lesson.

Sunday, March 13, the Primary Dept. sang "Angels Watching Over us" with Lauren Hoffman singing solo parts,. Rev. Mark Slaatte delivered the message for Lenten Service at Buffalo Prairie.

At the presbyterian church Tuesday, March 15 at 7 p.m. over 100 attended.

Mr. and Mrs. Mel and Betty Blaser returned from winter vacation in Florida. They enjoyed the weather, golfing and meeting their friends.
