(April 11, 2011) Mr. and Mrs. Martin and Ginger Neal and their three children, Tyson, Jamie and one-year-old Bella of St. Louis spent Saturday and Sunday with Evelyn Neal.

Krystal Jungmann, two-year-old daughter of Matt and Krystal Jungmann, celebrated her birthday with a Sunday dinner attended by her great-grandparents Helen and Clyde Campbell, grandparents Sue and Scott Campbell and uncle and wife Scott and Lisa Campbell.

The United FFA banquet was held on Tuesday, March 29. Cassie Campbell received the Star Greenhand Award and Outstanding freshman. Hillary Campbell received the Dwight Rickett's Scholarship award, which was presented by Michelle Ricketts Raes.

Lyle and Kathleen Worthington attended the piano recital held by Alisa Ramer at the Monmouth Methodist Church on Sunday afternoon. The Worthingtons' friends in the recital were Josh and Caleb Baker and Adam Burkett.

Marge Mills' company on Saturday was Cort and Faith Mills of Pekin and Denny Weldon and his friend.

The Bald Bluff Blue Ribbons 4-H club met on Sunday, April 17 at 5 p.m. Talks and demos were given by Cassie Campbell, Hillary Campbell and Cody Lybarger. Schrocks and Sargents were in charge of the refreshments.

Gift cards are being purchased for needy families by United Methodist Church for Easter. Anyone who would like to give to this project, find the basket in the back of the church.

The annual Easter Egg Hunt was Saturday April 18 at 10 a.m.

The Starting Point Tea was Saturday, April 18. There will be a combined Maundy Thursday service, with Sugar Tree Grove and Seaton/Sunbeam on the April 21 at 7 p.m. It will be a special service with scripture, music and communion.

Easter service will be at 7 a.m. on April 24, with breakfast to follow.
