David N. Adams

David N. Adams, age 61, of Chillicothe died on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born on October 29, 1949 in Peoria the son of Glenn R. and Mary E. (Miller) Adams.  He married Dena Darby on October 3, 1975 in Peoria.

Surviving are his wife; son, David Adams of Dixon; daughter, Crystal J. (Chris) Abbadusky of Chillicothe; stepson, Scott R. (Sara) Clarke of Buffalo Center, IA; five grandchildren; four step grandchildren; one great grandchild; a special niece, Dawn (Denis) Coventry of Chillicothe; brother, Paul Adams (Fiancée Martha Knowles) of Wyoming; sister, Janet (George) Hawley of New Boston, IL; and mother-in-law, Jane Darby of Galesburg.  He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Dustin G. Hawley.

He worked at Allied Welding for twenty years as a welder.

He enjoy fishing, hunting , loved music, specially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

 Cremation rites have been accorded.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 12 noon at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service time.  Pastor Phyllis Sterr will officiate.  Burial will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Rescue 33 or the American Cancer Society.  Online condolences may be submitted through www.weberhurdfuneralhome.com
