It took under a minute for Chase Rickard to become the winner in the Main Street Cow Plop contest on Saturday. Jet Man, a shorthorn steer owned by Thomas Farms of Aledo entered the pen at 4 p.m. Less than halfway across the pen, which was laid out with numbers in a grid formation, Jet Man made his "deposit" onto the winning number. When asked if Jet Man had been fed extra throughout the day to ensure his ability to "plop", Cole Thomas replied "not really, just so-so".
