Mercer Carnegie Library to hold Halloween party

There will be a Halloween party at the library on Saturday Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. -noon. Face-painting will be available at no charge from 9:30 - 11:30. There will be a raffle, door-prizes, a costume contest, story times, and refreshments. Costume contest participants will compete for Happy Joe's gift certificates. The public is invited to attend.

The Friends of the Library and RNA 20094 have announced the start of their annual Kringle Sale. Prices have remained the same at $9 each. Orders may be placed with Friends and RNA members or at the Library until Nov. 25.

The Mercer Carnegie Library Book Club will meet at the Library on Nov. 8 at 4 p.m. to discuss "Reading Lolita in Tehran" by Azar Nafisi. New members are always welcome.
