Public Transportation in Rural Rock Island & Mercer Counties to be discussed in a Free Travel Training

RIM Rural Transit is the public transportation provider that serves Rural Rock Island & Mercer Counties.  At 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Mercer County Senior Center at 137 W. Main Street Aledo, the public is invited to join a Free Travel Training held by RIM Rural Transit and Bi-State Regional Commission.  

The public will be informed about RIM Rural Transit, its rates, how to get a ride, and where a rider can go.  Any questions about RIM will be answered at the Travel Training.

Everyone is encouraged to attend to learn about RIM Rural Transit which is available to everyone in the county.

Additional Travel Trainings will be held on Nov. 22, 1:30 p.m. at Mercer County Health Department, 305 NW 7th Street, and Dec. 8, 1:30 p.m. at Heritage Woods of Aledo, 405 SE 13th Avenue.
