The Mercer County Quilters Guild has been making charity quilts!  Thirty-three quilts have been taken to Joplin, Mo. in October and more quilts will be made and taken there in January. We have had a good time getting together to make quilts at Mercer County Nursing Home activity room and lately, we have been sewing on designated evenings at the Aledo Fire Station.  If you want to join us to make quilts, please come. Most of the evenings that we sew charity quilts, we announce the date and time in The Times Record and WRMJ.
