The Kid's Club crews at First Baptist Church have amazed us again with their Go M.A.D. (Go Make a Difference) endeavors!  In September they started building a tower of toilet paper with the goal of reaching 1,000 rolls to donate to the Mercer County Food Pantry.  They not only reached their mark, but they blew past it totaling in at 1,100 rolls! All their hard work has earned them a bowling bash to celebrate!  Kid's Club is for all kids ages 3-6th grade on Wednesdays from 6-7:45 p.m. at First Baptist Church.  We're taking a break for the holidays but will start again on January 4.  Call the church office at 309-582-7812 for more information or to register your kids.  Next year's Go M.A.D. project will be collecting food for the pantry.  Check us out at www.firstbaptistaledo.com or find us on Facebook at "First Baptist Church of Aledo."  Aledo McDonalds graciously donated ice-cream cones to the kids when they reached their half-way mark!
