Mercer County Women for Women to meet April 17

The April dinner meeting of Mercer County Women for Women is scheduled for Tuesday, April 17 at 6 p.m. at Doug's Town & Country Restaurant in Aledo. The Scholarship Committee, Nancy Watkins, Mary Louck & Barbara Ehrenhart are the hostesses. Four scholarships will be presented that evening to local women of Mercer County to further their education. These may be given to new high school graduates of 2012 or to older women who wish to advance their skills in their chosen field. Letters of recommendation written for each of the recipients will be read at the meeting as the scholarships are presented. All women of Mercer County are welcome to attend meetings of the group.
