Hanna City man dies in motorcycle crash in Peoria

PEORIA − A motorcycle collision on Saturday left a Hanna City man dead, according to the Peoria County coroner and city police.

Coroner Jamie Harwood identified the deceased as 32-year-old Aaron N. Davis, of West Farmington Road.

Around 2:44 a.m. Saturday, police, firefighters and EMS were called to the intersection of Washington and Harrison streets, where they found Davis unresponsive and without a pulse. After life-saving measures were unsuccessful, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Harwood said the cause of death was severe blunt force trauma to the head and chest. He noted that Davis was not wearing a helmet.
