Rites of Spring in Princeton

There are several events coming to Bureau County Fairgrounds in the next few weeks.

The Society for Creative Anachronism will hold their Rites of Spring Event on Sat. April 10th. Come out and watch battles with rapiers or heavy weapons, watch archery contests or learn about medieval crafts and history.

Sunday, April 11th will be the 2nd Sunday Flea Market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Antiques, old and slightly used items will be sold.

The Friends of the Library Book Sale begins Thursday evening, April 15th and continues through Sunday, April 18th. All types of books including paperbacks and hardbacks will be sold there.

The Interstate 80 Alpacafest will be Sat. & Sunday, May 1 & 2. Come out and see the beautiful alpacas that will be coming from several states. Admission is free.

Take your Mom to the Mother's Day Flea Market on Sunday, May 9th. She might find something she has been looking for at the sale which runs 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tickets go on sale for all of the 155th Bureau County Fair events on Sat. June 12th at 9 a.m. Come out and be one of the first to get tickets for Craig Morgan and Rodeo Drive which will perform on Friday, August 27th.
