Congressman Phil Hare (D-Rock Island) will unveil his first campaign commercial tomorrow during press conferences in Rock Island, Sterling, and Galesburg. The ad, which is entitled “Sick and Tired,” will run in the Quad Cities media market. It talks about Hare’s commitment to forging a new direction on trade and protecting manufacturing in West-Central Illinois. It draws a contrast with his Republican opponent Bobby Schilling who supports an unfair trade agreement with South Korea and has signed a pledge to protect tax loopholes that encourage corporations to ship American jobs overseas.
