Congressman-elect Bobby Schilling will be in Washington, D.C. throughout this week for a freshman orientation program. Schilling joined more than 90 new members of the House in one of the largest freshmen classes in recent memory.

Schilling arrived in Washington D.C. yesterday. He said he can't wait to get started.

"I'm ready to get to work," Schilling said. "This week is about learning the ropes and learning how Washington functions. Next week we should finish hiring a capable staff to help provide constituent services that are second to none. I fully expect us to be prepared to start working for the people from day one."
