Illinois Soybean Association Unveils Mobile Version of!

Those who want additional information about the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) and its activities now have quicker, easier access as a result of the organization's new mobile website. Funded by the Illinois soybean checkoff, the new version of promises to be a valuable tool not only for today's active soybean farmers, but for the media, industry professionals and other key audiences as well.

"ISA has a great website for soybean growers, but the new way to stay in touch is with smartphones." said Dan Farney, vice chair of ISA's Information & Education Committee. "The mobile version of the site will allow farmers and other users to access key information from their smartphones so they can interact with the association from wherever they are."  

The new mobile site, (, provides basic information about the association, including its managed research areas, international marketing programs and current news – the most recent press releases, calendar of events, current research round-up posts and ISA's weekly updates. Some content is designed specifically for the mobile user while other content points to information hosted on the existing website. The new site also contains email addresses for ISA staff members and links to ISA's extensive social media initiatives on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and more.

"We are an over-communicated society so it is important for an organization to make things as easy as possible for its members," said ISA Vice Chairman Matt Hughes. "The mobile website will help our members communicate and interact with us on their terms and timetables, not ours."
