Alleman edges Rockets 57-55

The Rock Island Alleman Pioneers defeated Rockridge 57-55 on Jan. 11.

Alleman jumped out to a 14-7 lead in the first quarter After a 22 point second quarter Alleman held a commanding 36-25 at the half.

Rockridge bounced back in the third quarter outscoring Alleman 13-6. Alleman still led 42-38 after three quarters.

The Rockets came on strong in the final period outscoring 17-15 but it wasn't enough as Alleman held on for the victory.

Scoring for the Rockets were: Joe Heath, 17; Alex Johnson, 11; Tannr Martin, eight; Austin Sikma, six; Hunter Frakes and Ethan Happ, four; Conor Frakes, three and T. J. Henry, two.
