CSC Hosts 28th Annual Class Day

The Knox County Association for Home and Community Education (KCAHCE) will hold the 28th Annual Class Day on Saturday, Feb. 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Carl Sandburg College Main Campus in Galesburg.

Participants may choose to attend up to five classes from the 50 that will be offered. Class topics cover a broad range, including food, antiques, CPR, computer and social media skills, crafts, wellness and exercise, and gardening. Cost is $25 and includes lunch. A materials fee may be charged in some classes.

Teachers can earn up to five Continuing Professional Development Unit (CPDU) credits by attending. Scholarships are available for Knox County 4-H members. Pre-registration is required. Registration forms are available in the program booklets that are offered at several locations, including the Galesburg Public Library, area township libraries, Carl Sandburg College, Galesburg Visitor’s Bureau, Farm Bureau Office, and U of I Extension Office.
