SEAC Hosting Trip to Field Museum April 2
The Sandburg Environmental Awareness Club, a student organization at Carl Sandburg College, will travel on Saturday, April 2, to the Field Museum of Natural History, located at 1400 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago. The bus will depart at 7 a.m. from parking lot C from the Main Campus in Galesburg and will leave the museum at 5 p.m. Tickets to travel on the charter bus are $25.
Attendees are responsible for their own museum tickets and meals. Museum tickets may be purchased at the door. Dining locations are available at the museum. Admission prices to the museum vary based on the package. Three categories include:
All-Access Pass – Includes admission to all regular and ticketed exhibits, and includes SUE, Evolving Planet, Ancient Americas, Inside Ancient Egypt, plus 3-D Theatre, Underground Adventure and other events to be announced. Adults are $29, children ages 3-11 years are $20, students with ID are $24, and seniors age 65 or older are $24.
Discovery Pass – Includes admission to all regular exhibits and one ticketed exhibit. Also includes SUE, Evolving Planet, Ancient Americas, Inside Ancient Egypt, plus 3-D Theater or Underground Adventure or one of the other to-be-announced events. Adults $22, children $15, students with ID $18, and seniors $18.
Basic Admission – Includes admission to all general exhibits including SUE, Evolving Planet, Ancient Americas and Inside Ancient Egypt. Adults $15, children $10, students with ID $12, and seniors $12.
