Help Finding Lost Veterans

The Illinois Lost Veterans Project will be at the Galesburg Heritage Days, at Lake Storey Park  Galesburg. Starting Friday Aug. 17 at 4 p.m. – Sunday Aug. 19. This NEW Pilot project is designed to assist Veterans in getting the benefits they deserve.It is a FREE service provided by the Veterans Affairs. The Illinois Lost Veterans Project has two primary objectives: 1) To  increase the level of awareness of the enormous array of VA benefits available to Veterans and their families, to encourage enrollment through the nearest VA point of contact, and 2) To  assist Veterans that are struggling to cope with  unemployment, medical needs, trauma, and other person needs.
