Westmer’s Erica Tharp readies for a rebound against AlWood.

AlWood defeated Westmer 51-36 on Nov. 25. AlWood scored 14 points in each of the first three periods and built a 42-23 lead by the end of the third quarter.

Jena Peterson led the way for AlWood with 14 points while Britta Johnson added 11.

Scoring for Westmer were: Erica Tharp, 14; Heather Harfst, seven; Emily Frieden, five; Kayla Hyett, Sarah Higgins, Danielle Knapp, Tara Hyett and Kimberly Ortberg, two.
