Warriors end winless streak

The Westmer Warriors broke through the win column on Dec. 8 with a 47-44 victory over West Central. The victory ends a two-year drought for the Warriors.

The Warriors are now 1-8 overall.

West Central held a 10-8 lead after the first quarter and were up 22-15 at halftime.

The Warriors came alive in the third quarter and outscored their opponents 17-7 to take a 32-29 lead into the fourth quarter.

Tyler Howard and Shea Bieri paced the Warriors with 13 points apiece and Dylan King added 11.

Also scoring were Zac King, six and Dylan Webb and Brandon Bolton, two.
