Mercer County falls to ROWVA

The Mercer County girls volleyball team fell to ROWVA Monday Sept. 28. ROWVA took the first game 25-23, lost the second game, 18-25 and won the third game 25-18.

Emily Frieden led the Golden Eagles with 10 kills and four digs. Teague Holmes had three blocks. Averi Wilson led Mercer County with 11 assists and six digs. Emma Downey had eight points including a pair of aces.

The Mercer County junior varsity beat ROWVA 27-25 and 25-20. The Mercer County freshmen beat ROWVA 25-8 and 25-13.
